God not only wants us to forgive others but also forgive ourselves. That in itself is a hard thing to do, we are the hardest on our self and the devil knows it and uses it.  We are to forgive and are forgiven by God 490 times in a day. There are 365 days in a year, that is a lot of forgiving and forgiveness. Now if you are to take your age and multiply it by 365, Wow, God really loves us!!! When we forgive ourselves, we can also love ourselves, it free us. When we forgive others, it frees us and those who are being forgiven. Whether they hear, I forgive you are not, when we declare to the Lord we forgive self/other He hears. There are times we need to say to God, I forgive, help me with any unforgiveness. Like in Mark 9:24 the father cries out I believe; help me with my unbelief, we can place the word forgive. God loves us and will help us if we only ask.
